What goes in?
1 cup cooked Chana dal (chick pea)/Kara mani (black eyed beans)
1 cup Pumpkin sliced
1 cup grated coconut
1 tsp jeera
1 tsp red chilly powder
pinch of turmeric
salt to taste

For Seasoning:
curry leaves
2 tbsp coconut

What to do next?
Cook pumpkin in 2 cups of water, with salt, turmeric and chilly powder
Once the pumpkin is cooked, add the boiled chana dal/karamani
Grind the coconut and jeera powder to a paste

Add this to the pumpkin and dal, let it boil and mix well

For Seasoning:
Heat oil(coconut oil)
Roast the coconut till brown and  add curry leaves
Season the erussery with this.
