What goes in?

10-12 medium size arvi roots(traditionally this is made with Yam)
pich of turmeric
salt to taste
1/2 cup curds

For grinding:

1/2 cup grated coconut
1/2 tbsp mustard seeds

For seasoning:
2-3 red chillies
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp fenugreek seeds

What to do next?
Pressure cook the arvi roots, this makes it easier to peel off its skin as well.
Boil water (just enough to cover the arvi roots), add salt and turmeric.
Add the arvi roots. Let it boil for about 5 mins.
Add coconut and mustard seeds paste
Allow this to come to boil.
Add curds, after adding curds do not over boil (as soon as you see the first bubbles turn the gas off)

Garnish with a seasoning of mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and red chillies.
